Alpha 1.6 update progress


I've made allot of progress to the up coming update. I plan to completely overhaul the game with new code and art. I've been working towards making the game a more complete project.

I've removed all the old art now, and replaced it with new hand drawn art. It's not complete, but I've almost finished the move away from the 10 second art approach that I had been taking up until this point.

The latest thing I've done is prioritize the tasks. Taking priority is the new water feature, as well as adding in new mini games. The new art has been my number one focus up until now, and once I'm complete I'll move over to the priority tasks.

Speaking of mini games, I've adding the car travel mini game between regions. It's a quite simple game where you just play a vehicle trying to shove all the other vehicles off the road. It's pretty easy, but fun to play. 

The story is actively being written as well, which may come as a surprise to some of you. More story details will be unveiled once it's closer to being finished.

I've started recruiting help for the game. Neither new member is officially on the project yet, and for that reason I won't be adding them to the credits or revealing who they are yet. However, even if these new members don't pan out, the game will proceed as normal. Assuming that they do, the releases should contain less issues overall as there are more testers. 

Finally an announcement for when this update is coming;

You can expect the Alpha 1.6 update before November 30th.

Assuming everything goes to plan I'm targeting a full Beta 1.0 release March 1st 2022 on Android, Windows, and Linux.
